Yeh look good to other 17yr old virgins trying to impress each other.

Hahahaha!!! I'm going to remember that next time someone at college takes the mickey out of my purple and white TTR.

And I am sorry to hear you lost your licence, but like you say, at least you are back on two wheels at any rate. I personally like cg's, just a bit small for me.

Can you get a full licence again? How long was the ban?

Oh I see, do you have to obey the new rules then? None of the 33bhp stuff? Direct access has been changed to 24.

I genuinely feel for you. I had a scare the other day, doing a wheelie, Rolling Eyes the police officer said he could have took the bike off me and my licence and that panicked me a lot.

If it was revoked under NDA, then surely, when you had completed any ordered period of disqual, you had to apply for new, fresh 'clean' licence, surely?

I thought that was the point of a revoking, as opposed to a suspension; suspension you get licence back with all entitlements & outstanding endorsements; subject to extended re-test; but revoking; they tear up the licence completely and send you back to start from scratch with a new one, when you are eligible.

Or are you saying that you have managed to rack up nine points since being revoked, on your new provisional Shocked

On which point... have you re-done CBT since being revoked? Seem to recall a rumour some-one got cought out on that; they passed within a week or so of doing CBT via an intensive course, got banned within six months; got six months disqual and so got new licence before thier old CBT cert expired, so carried on riding... only to get hauled in as the CBT cert was issued against revoked drivers number... and so DIDN'T validate the provisional entitlement of 'new' post revokating licence.... maybe worth checking out.

No idea how it works on their end, but I have the same driving license number as it did before, but it's provisional and not pink, and the date I got it is updated

Not been an issue with insurance yet, I imagine it's confusing when I have offences from before I had a license 'reissued'

Not done CBT as same driving license number, don't think it's needed, fairly certain. Have my old CBT cert with my same driving license number on it so seems legit (but then again so are my mod 1 and 2 so I could easily lie to insurers)

Gonna be derp having to refresh my CBT come january Rolling Eyes
Would be more cost effective to 'do DAS' and have the CBT thrown in

The points carry over, just because you're revoked doesn't mean your speeding fines disappear, I had to get a new license for it to be endorsed in the first place, so I had to delay my payment and shit for like 2 months while I sorted it, they were pretty understanding and extended it by a month each time I asked them to. They were equally confused and had to check how it works though, seems it doesn't happen as often as you'd think Laughing

If CBT was a licesne endorsement then yeah probably, but it doesn't go on the license, it's just a 2 year certificate afaik

Managed to do an indicated 65 on it today, no idea what ym mate has done to thsi bike, seems the gears are stretched out so you can do up to like 50 in 3rd then the gears after that pretty much just slow you down

What'd be really interesting would be booking just a mod2, turning up, and handing over your old mod1 pass certificate. It's got the right driving license number on it, after all... Wink

(Hardly worth trying it given the price of a mod1 though I guess!)

They should notice the dates on the certificate are before the date of the provisional, should Wink
