Do you think its a good idea to ride a rg 125 import on a 125 license when it has 33bhp, technically it isn't derestricted as it was never restricted in the first place

any opinions?

Hi

Legally you are stuffed if caught. That it was never restricted doesn't make it any better legally.

All the best

The "125 licence" is a category A1 licence.

Motorcycles
Category A1

You can drive light motorbikes with:

an engine size up to 125cc
a power output of up to 11kW (14.6bhp)
a power to weight ratio not more than 0.1kW/kg

This category also includes motor tricycles with power output up to 15kW.

Not worth the risk to be honest.
