Hi i have an 07 fuel injected Honda CBR 125 and last week saturday the bike started cutting out as soon as i got to work on my way home i stopped to fill up at petrol station (died 4 times on the way) and it wouldnt start i called the AA they said i needed a new battery so i bought one turned it on and bike still was cutting off had to ride it home with my revs high so it wouldnt cut out the next day i changed the spark plug the bike went okay for the rest of the week but this week on monday it started cutting out again on my way to uni (i took the A40) so my guess is because i was going faster than usual with it it is now cutting off more often when i stop at a red light. if i keep my revs up it wont cut off (doesnt matter if im in neutral or 1st gear holding clutch)

anyone have any idea what this could be??

Have you made sure that the battery connectors are properly secure and touching the metal bits? I had the same issue a while back and it was because, as I was riding along, the bumps would knock the metal connectors away from the battery as they weren't super secure.

Could be a fueling problem? Check to see if there is a inline fuel filter is it clear or dirty if dirty change Thumbs Up also check the breather on fuel cap is clean and clear....

Lift the tank off, there are 2 breather pipes that are routed so fucking tight they kink.

Either cut them shorter, remove then or route them elsewhere.

Also try opening the tank cap when you next stop, more than likely you'll hear a rush of air.

Could be ignition coil, a known fault on the CBRs. Have you had the tank off recently? The hoses underneath there can bid come kinked if not routed correctly.

I haven't had the tank off as I have just bought the bike not too long ago but I will look into the hoses on the bottom and see if that could be the problem.

Check the wiring behind the lights that are on the frame underneath the headstock aswell.

I had the same problem but it was due to the movement from the bar wearing through the wires causing them to short.

Fuel injection?

Cuts out at low revs?

#1 Throttle position sensor electronic bullshit.
#2 Lambda probe electronic bullshit.
#3 Leak between the airbox and inlet.
#4 Your plug is fouled or fucked. Let's see it.
