There's a great womens match on at the moment (Tue 15:45) between new Russian sensation (and Anna Kournikova lookalike!)Maria Sharapova and Ai Sugiyama. Some absolutely amazing rallys.

I tried watching/getting involved in 'Henmania' but them I realised it was sunny outside so I went out on the bike...

It's kinda like snooker/late night poker - I could only watch it when I'm pissed!

One time I was playing a game on the PC, I heard a load of grunting from the TV, I span round thinking "Yes, porn on TV, in the middle of the day" but it was tennis, and I was sad :'(
Since that incident, I have tried to avoid tennis on TV at all times, it brings back painful memories.

I should have guessed I'd get a mostly negative response. But then I suppose most of the tennis lovers are already watching it. I just happen to have my laptop in front of the TV.

But this really is such a great game that if you don't normally watch tennis I urge you if you're near a TV set to take a quick look.

The skill, athleticism, power, grace and beauty in this particular match might just get you hooked...

I'm not a fanatical follower but I don't mind watching the odd game. When there are two good players it can be great to watch.

Also there are lots of attractive female players this year. Wink

Sadly I'm always working so only get to see the late night highlights. Sad

Anna kournikova is not playing, so no Razz

Never liked watching tennis, back and forth all the time, too much grunting.

Maria Sharapova wins again in another great game (came back from losing the first set) and is now in the final.

Maybe I shouldn't say this, but each time she won a particularly important game, her nipples got erect... Shocked Shocked Shocked

Even the commentators seemed to notice although of course they couldn't say anything, just referred to her being 'pumped up'...
