tgb 125cc

Ive got a new 2013 tgb hawk 125cc stock through a council scheme. I'm being their first trialist on a 125cc others only have 50cc's Now it's only going 41-43 top speed atm.. 45-46 slight downhill. and when you go up a hill you pull the trottle back and it just stays at the same speed. I thought 125s were quicker than that. do you think the garage have restricted it more than stock? they said it needs to be broken in but doesn't seem the right speed to me? I pull back the trottle it accelerates and makes a sometimes choking noise.

I thought 125cc went 55-60 stock?

Take it back to whence it came and get them to investigate or explain why it is only doing just over 40mph.

To be honest though, it is a £1600 from new scootay. Don't have high expectations of it.

What is the Council scheme for it?
