... In our justice system.

To cut a long story short Range Rover Reversed into my ZX6R last November whilst it was parked in a layby outside a tesco express on my way to work ( I was in the store when it happened ) despite being told he just had hit my bike he buggered off leaving no details. Lorry driver saw it, told me , gave me reg of said Range Rover. I Reported it to the police.

Ensues 6 months of him denying it saying " my reversing sensors didn't go off so I can't of hit it" his insurers giving us the runaround despite having a 2nd witness. Eventually get a cheque to carry out repairs.

He got summons to court, trial was last week for driving without due care and attention. I gave evidence as did 1 of the witnesses.

Just heard the result, he was found Guilty over £1200 costs and 5 points Thumbs Up Very Happy Thumbs Up Very Happy

Im more than happy wasn't expecting anything more than a few hundred quid fine in the end.

What really pissed me off was the fact he was told he hit my bike got out took one look at it said ' na it looks alright ' then fucked off, what happened to common courtesy ?

But yes good result hope he already has 6 on his license.

Nice!

How did he act in court? Was he still denying it, arms-folded, with a smug smile?

It's great that your witnesses stepped up after so long, too. Good on them. Thumbs Up
