Basically, I have been soo busy the last few months with work and other things I have not MOTed my bike, so missed the end of the summer.

Thought fuck it, doing it this weekend, went to start the bike, clean it ect and noticed my ignition lock has been tampered with.

OK, Im lucky, it looks like someone tried to steal the bike and failed.
But now I cant get the key in, so cant take the steering lock off or start the bike.

Bike Model:
Kawasaki ER6-F 2009 model.

Any suggestions, approx how much to replace the ignition lock. Any tips / suggestions.

If its more than £200 the insurance is having it, but dont want to go insurance for a £40 fix.

Pics below.

Dude,

You should really be ringing up a few garages and asking them how much they charge in labour and then phone a kawasaki dealer and ask them how much a replacement ignition set is.

Don't go down the insurance route at all! It will rape your wallet for the next 5 years!

Ring up kawasaki for a price otherwise it's ebay. Do these have immobilisers?
