If you can't find decent brands in 3.00/18, apparently 90/90-R18 is a reasonable close match...
If I'm to take a wild but educated guess at it, "3.00" is literally either 95/80 or 100/75 (neither of which actually exist AFAICT) or thereabouts. You may find your effective engine-to-tarmac gearing changes slightly as a result, but so long as your speedo is driven off the front wheel THAT shouldn't change at least.
I've been recommended Michelin before, though I haven't had chance to test them yet (any time I've replaced the tyres on the CG before, it's been forced by a massive puncture or similar, and there was only ever horrible Chinese or Slovenian budget shite available). They've been good on my cars before, though I know that's probably no real guide.
EDIT: As your bike looks like a shameless CG copy, make sure the tyre's alright for use with inner tubes and doesn't need to be pressurised itself (might need stronger sidewalls etc). My original certainly has tubes. Yer typical small-bike rubber ring is probably alright for it, but, do check. |
