Your idea of a rush to work and my idea of a rush to work are clearly different Laughing

It might be more interesting if you cut down the video to the bits that were "rushing". I watched the first 3 minutes and saw very sedate riding behind some cars, then skipped through to see some relaxed motorway cruising, and a tiny bit of lane splitting towards 8:30, but nothing I would consider an above-average pace...

The ride I took to bring engine oil to the council waste disposal on my scooter this morning had more "rush", and that's a long way off my style of rush, where I overtake almost everything in sight as soon as possible.

He lives in the Netherlands. Birth place of the speed camera. It probably is a rather quick ride for them considering they have cameras all over the place. Laughing

The time should be visible right beside the speed indication.
But i think it was 9:40, just after the rush hour.

Exactly, if you look carefully you can see that I mostly go 30km over the speed limit.
If you take into consideration that the Netherlands is also one of the most "monitored" countries in the world i would not like to upload video's in my name that can get me into real problems.

This video is not like ghostrider, but still, 12 km of city traffic in 10 to 11 minutes is not bad at all.

meh, that is normal for me going between 2 cities which involves going into the heart of 1 of them. On a good day (or at your time of day i.e 9:40am) I can do 22km in 15mins

Do it in half the time and it'll be not bad.

Just don't mind people, don't let them tell you, how fast you should go. Ride as fast as you feel comfortable. There were far to many people who went as fast as someone told them and most of them are dead or crippled. Thumbs Up

I am looking forward seeing all these Rush to work video's that go 2x as fast.

And if you like you can point out any route in this city from A to B and we could see in real life who gets there first, in one piece Wink

Uploading real-world videos is an easy pull for the police.

You don't necessarily need to speed (much) to make decent progress when cars aren't. Here's me on a 125cc scooter I had on loan from insurance:

And here's me on my SH300:

So you're new to biking and wanted to show off your commute where you twisted the throttle of your bike by additional 5mph of raw violent speed which only in your eyes was like a rush as it was way beyond of your comfort zone. You see for most of the people on here it was quite an unexciting riding. If you wanted to impress then defo you picked the wrong forum. You may impress some people on forums like motovlog and such.. They will even subscribe and like.

Awaiting a flounce.
