Sad hi, people i went out side to start my aprilia rs125 extrema 1996 model, i turned the key and put the inition on all the lights and computer came on as normal then i went to start it using the electric start, but nothing the engine didn't turn over all i heard was a little ding sound come from the engine direction. so i bumped it down a hill and it started fine, but the lights were bright when it was ticking over and when i reved it the lights went dull and flicked on and off, i was wondering if anyone had experiened any problems like this and how u sorted it,
Cheers, nathanrs125

Hi

I had this problem on my RS125 during the fuel strike when I ran it round slowly for far too long and the vibration loosened the battery terminals. Check these. Also check the wiring to the regulator which is under the pillion seat on the near side. You might find the main power feed from it to the battery has corroded, especially on a connector.

All the best

Keith
