Hi all,

2009 CBF 125 with 7k miles. Recently the biting point has been getting further and further forward on the lever, no issues whatsoever with selecting 1st and it changes up and down the gears like silk, but I'm guessing something either needs adjusting or do I need a new clutch? Any ideas?

thanks,

Forgot to say, all services have been done at the right intervals, and I change the oil every 2000 miles with Castrol 10W 40 racing (yes it's pricey but it was half price on Amazon and it goes much better with that than with cheap oil!)

Trying adjusting your clutch cable first. See the nut at the end of the cable (near you dip stick) - undo the locking nut first and then adjust. Also good idea to lube the cable and linkages.
Unless something drastic has happened your clutch should not need replacing at 7k.
Hope this helps. Thumbs Up
