Hello all, I'm looking at fitting new clutch plates as well as friction plates.

I came across these, what is the difference for clutch type A and type B?

Generally so long as the steel plates are not buckled they are fine to reuse.

there are sometimes different thickness steel plates on the inside and outside to deal with the most heat/slip or sometimes the outermost plate locates differently.

Without having it apart to measure I couldn't advise why the plates are listed as a and b, it could be as simple as differentiating between stock brands.
