Stomp 140Z (note to self, buy z cam for next year) or similar. Choice of 10" or 12" wheels, only used to be allowed 10s before, but must be spoked. Same tyres for everyone.

They seem to be pretty cheap on eBay. Might buy one and one of those tow bar bike carries and do a few practice days.

Out of interest, apart from ease of tyre changes and 2", what difference is there between 10" and 12" tyres.

I wish my car hadn't blown up on Saturday, I really want in on this. How much do you think converting to the race regs from the stock z140 would cost?

Looks like a brand new stock z140 ( 12" rear/14" front with trail tyres, not a c90 exhaust) is widely available for £720 delivered.

I'll be doing F400 with them next year.

£1500 will also get you a ready to go f400 bike, a 600 steel frame, a pre-injection 600, minitwins.

Plenty of options of big bikes for £1500 if it's only for race use.
