Starts 6pm, anyone going?

Very packed and some of the tube stations had to be shut but I managed to sneak past the crowd in one of the side streets and get a good spot to watch, would have been nice to have a camera. Very impressive, particularly when they were going past revving the tits off the things - now that's some noise Shocked

I tried to go but I couldn't get remotely near. I have never seen London so busy! Shocked

Th police were trying to control the crowd and push people back.

I could hear the cars, and see a smoke cloud as one did a donut somewhere in front of me.

I was quite near the front at Pall Mall where they started and did doughnuts. It was quite chaotic, really packed and some very ill-mannered people about. Not good when you're standing waiting for a couple of hours. But the noise was terrific and made up for it! Thumbs Up

I tried to get a look but the crowds were too heavy around where I was. Had my camera with me too.

Thought the choice of time and stewarding was a bit shite really. I mean organising it for the middle of the rush hour? Struck me as one of those occasions where you only need a little bit of bad luck for there to be some very nasty accidents. Some bloke said he'd seen a woman with her head gashed open after a scaffolding pole fell on her. Confused
