Wow. I love the first three VU albums, and the live '69 double too. His solo stuff - transformer not withstanding - mostly fucking sucked though. I've got it all, and it just stinks.

He was a member of the Harley Davidson owners club....I won't hold that against him. He liked bikes for the same reason we all do...A sense of freedom being one, prostate massaging possibly another.
