Honda XR L 125 2006 Indicator Housing Replacement

Hi guys.
I have a Honda XR L 125 2006.
Regrettably it has to be parked on the road at the moment, and unfortunately someone has smashed the housing and bulb in my rear indicator.

I have bought a new set, and was advised that they would be easy to change. However, upon undoing the nuts that hold the housing in place, I can't see an easy way to get inside and disconnect the wires without taking the back of the bike to bits (I also don't know how to do that )

Any advice?

you might have to check and use existing wires or 'pull through' some new ones through the stalks/fittings.

usuallly removing the seat and plastic panels will reveal the indicator wiring going to each side ,or , be with the rear lamo wires.

usual colours are light blue and orange .
