ICL surgery (lens implants)

Bit of a niche thing to ask really, but i was wondering if anyone here has has had ICL surgery in which a contact lens is implanted in your eye, or a clear lens exchange (replacing the natural lens) to fix myopia?
Debating on whether to have it done next year as i'm not a candidate for LASIK.

I thought about it for a while, im long sighted but normal lazer surgery would not be suitable for me so the optician said about putting lenses in my eyes. I've wore glasses since early primary and now 34, i decided against it, glasses dont bother me until they get steamed up in my motorcycle helmet so decided against it. Ive heard good and bad, the bad they put the lenses in the eye then after a few years need to remove them as eye sight had changed.
