Hi
After buying a derbi cross senda yesterday today it has developed a fault.it starts and ticks over fine but as soon as you pull the throttle back a little bit it cuts out.it was low on petrol so filled it with petrol and left to idle for a few mins.after this it was revving fine for about 5 mins and tgen the problem occured again and now does it all the time.i have tried running it without the petrol cap on and still does it on close inspection I have noticed the petrol pipe from tank to carb has started to crack/split but its not leaking any fuel.any thoughts on what it can be.thanks

Has it got a fuel filter?

Running it down can get the dregs through the carb, so I'd give that a clean.

Take it apart and take each jet out individually - blow through them by sealing your lips around and give a sharp exhalation.
If need be, use some something like a plastic strand from a washing up brush to dislodge bigger bits.

First thing I'd try.
