Evening, Just a request for some info please. My eldest is autistic but loves cycling as it gives him some freedom.

Up until a few months ago he had a Saracen mountain bike style, can't remember the model but it was a really strong bike that meant I never had to bother with it really. Some arse ran over it at his college obviously a gonna!

Mum got him a Halfords job to keep going but I've been forever replacing bits n bobs, tonight gear change just snapped.

So rather than fork out up to say £100 on a new one I would like some suggestions as I feel I may get better value second hand as long as it's reasonably tidy with a higher quality bike that doesn't require constant attention?

Obviously this would be a Xmas present from his tight arsed Dad....
