How do you feel about it? I am not talking about tagging but quality work such as an artist Local to me produces or these new pieces I saw yesturday.

Tags are crap, but some of the work like the above is an asset to the environment it is in.

Don't mind if it's graffiti art on removable boards etc.

Graffiti on building exteriors, however, makes a place look like a shithole.

When done well it's great. Not sure I would call the above works graffiti....I always think of air brushed stuff...quickly done, as mentioned above.

I love some Banksy stuff....it's so simple but effective....but I don't look at it as being permanent. The thing with Banksy selling stuff on the street from a stall for $50 each with few takers was great

Art in the streets is deffo cool when done right tho IMO. There was a condemned building in Cambridge that they let the Art Students use as a blank canvas for a while. Most was pants but some looked good. Some of these 3D pavement drawings that are spreading everywhere look excellent too.

Love the artistic stuff. Bristols got some really amazing street exhibitions (besides banksy works this is also) that are incredibly talented and really make the place look a lot better IMO.

Shoddy half assed beginner stuff tends to look like the stuff scrawled on train carriages though

Some the the tags and scrawls are the best imo, ones that are in random places, like the ones VAMP does.

I used to love driving through Bristol every day to see what new graffiti there was, OK so I haven't really been around much of Bristol for a couple of months so I feel another little trip over there to have a look around maybe on the cards in the next couple of days....

I admire the fact that it can take several hours and lots of different spray cans for some of the pieces I've seen, I'm not so keen on people just slapping a tag up on as many surfaces as possible, or stuff that just looks shit and doesn't seem to make much sense.... which brings me to some (OK IMO ALL) of the shit done by Banksy? He turns up with a stencil or 2, gets a roller and can of emulsion (I know he uses spray cans... and sometimes more than 2), but as soon as it's spotted then it's like a holy fucking shrine
