Be very careful with it, they're fragile. Also it might be worth scouting out for some places that do parts before anything breaks as you know that when something does it'll be when you really can't afford to be without a bike! Laughing

Google "Chinese motor parts online", they stock practically everything, and most Chinese clone cross fit with another manufacture.

saying that , the bike is second hand i got off a guy who was going back to his homeland and did not want the bike , i ended up getting the bike for £500 with tax and mot as its only 7 months old, its a 11 plate.
The bike is now currently sat in my garage as the back wheel poped i got this fixed and then realized i needed new cush drive rubbers for the back wheel, since this has happend the bike has not wanted to start.

its been in garge for about a week and half now , im going to get a new battery and spark plug for it. as im not sure on what it could be.

I was about to comment saying something along the lines of -- everyone'll slate them but I'm sure it'll do you fine for a year or two if you don't abuse it.

That's unbelievable!

There is a reason chinese bikes are cheap, they do need to be looked after and checked all the time Thumbs Up

Sell it while it's still relatively new and has some value and invest in an older Jap bike which will hold its value.

Whoa there, slugger.

It's a very simple Honda CG125 devil-spawn Suzuki copy-engine, there's not a lot to go maybe stuf wrong, and there's [probably] nothing in the service schedule that can't be done easily at home with a minimum of tools.

So, what are the exact symptoms of it not starting?

Yes, ditch the stock plug if it's a Torch AT7 whatever or similar joke plug. Fit an NGK D8EA (gapped to 0.6 - 0.7mm) or a DR8EIX plug appropriate to the engine.

But after that, diagnose. Why are you changing the battery rather than charging it or trying to jump or bump start it?

You might be as well asking this in the Workshop, the Brain Trust hangs out in there.

when i had to change the back wheel i noticed the cush drive rubbers were fuc**d , i tried to bump start it but it wouldnt work ,

when i try start the bike all the lights on the dashbord dimm, it seems that all the power is being taken from them to try start it.

im not sure what it could be i just fort it would save me less hassle if i just change spark plug and get a new battery ???? Confused

Might be worth charging the battery.

The cold weather has knocked my XJ and GSXR batteries down in about 4 days Laughing

And what else happens? Does the engine turn? Is there any hint of it firing? Have you checked that you're getting a spark? Is there fuel in the tank, and is it getting to the carb and the cylinder? What colour and condition is the tip of the spark plug?

You'll want to fully charge any new battery, so you might as well get a charger first and see if you can recover your current one.

Looks like a Gs125 ohc copy to me Wink

Embarassed Shag me ragged, I just looked at the "K157FMI" designation, but you're right, the GS is 57mm bore as well[1], and it certainly looks like the GS engine (although it's down on power). I guess the "K" is for, uh, "SuzuKi Kopy". Very Happy

[1] The CG being 56.5, thus the interchangeable use of 156/157 codes for it.

1 - cylinder
56/57 - mm bore
F - air cooled
M - motorcycle
I - 125cc

7 months old and needs cush drives, that's quick even by Chinese standards!

Why not just charge the battery that's in it, it seems like it's just flat. Anyway, if you buy a new one, that will need charging before use too!

overnight on trickle charge.

Do NOT use a car charger, or one that is not controllable with charging current, car chargers often will warp the plates in the battery and kill it for good

The bike had its regular services per requirements to warranty ... And has been a joy clean it every couple of mths and went through last winter with no problems ( so you look after the bike and it will look after you ) best £900 I ever spent Thumbs Up
