While I was working on a sheep farm in Oz, there was ONE local pub... and by local, I mean 30 minutes drive away. It was also the only offy, so we used to combine a booze run with a pint or two.

There was a 'sand mine' near by, I think they meant silicon, but either way... miners in full on orange gear flourescent 'work' gear, looking fucking immaculate. Strutting about like they actually worked for their 6 figure salaries.

There was a great old boy John, heavy drinker but sound as hell. We used to pop down together, straight from work, covered in (bright purple) sheep drench, shit, blood, snot, oil and dust. (ala picture, but smellier)

I miss working with the bugger actually. But certainly got no time for people posing down the pub in 'work' gear that is damned clean, especially in a pub where the only bird is behind the bar.
