Hi All, AM picking up my new keeway rkv 125 today and was wondering whats the best way to break it in Thanks For your assistance NAthan.

Old my old Honda CLR after it tried eating its self. Now have a Keeway RKV 125, haha not all that bad tbh. Next bike will be a shiny new z800e for the restricted licence.

guessing you've done it by now - but for those that search similar and this comes up on google;

Start out by going around every nut and bolt making sure they are tight (and torqued up in the case of swingarm spindle, headstock nut and wheel spindles. Also check that the headstock bearings are actually done up and not loose!

All electrical connectors - go round them, make sure everythingfits snugly in the plastic sheaths etc, might be worth using WD and vaseline or something like that to ensure they don't corrode.

Make sure your brakes etc are secure too!!

now you've made it safe...

Take it steady for 400m (half the revs of the redline),do an oil change, start building her revs up until 1000m - do a full service and then ride normally Smile

try and vary the revs whilst riding. just whilst you're running in
