Hi all wonder if anyone could help,Gave a friend of mine some lessons today on my bike in a deserted carpark.
It ain't to big so mostly he was reaching secound /third gear at the most kicking down to first when turning and gearing up etc..The problem is that my bike (hornet 600)overheated after about 45 minutes is this due to the continued low speeds or could it signify another problem?.
I had checked my oil and coolent levels yesterday both were fine
thanks in advance Very Happy Thumbs Up

Hi

Probably no real problem. 45 minutes of slow work would give it a hard time.

However check that the fan comes on (and comes on in the correct direction, not blowing air from the engine onto the radiator) and that the cooling system is not over full.

All the best

Keith
