and I am one happy fucking boy!

Only two faults, not going fast enough around some fucked up old bendy road round Sutton (one with a London bus in the front garden for those who know the area) and that's it. Well chuffed.
Instructor's frirst words were 'Well done, give me that ear piece and radio as you won't need that on the way back. Just follow me'!

On the way back to the riding school at Vauxhall we went like rockets and it felt great to be free of that burden of not having the licence despite having the riding ability.

Tomorrow I shall start my multi-bike policy and then Saturday I'll take the cover off my 99 Fazer 600 and get the fuck out of London for a nice long ride. Can't wait.

Thanks for the advice given by those who gave.I did read it all. Very Happy

One tip as mentioned, don't push too hard. It's totally different riding on your own. and it's colder Smile

Enjoy dude!

Congrats Thumbs Up have fun.

As said, just take it easy. Not a nice time of year with all the feckin slippery leaves on the roads.

Cheers, Rog Very Happy I'm actually going to try and avoid putting the bike away and ride all the year round! Isn't that what we should be doing?

First thing, I need to find out just what this Fazer can do!

Cheers, Dave. Not a bad place but at least the examiner took me round Mitcham Common and avoided sitting in traffic in Croydon!I didn't mind it at all. Very Happy

That road with the bes in the garden - is it past Asda? Near the sewage works...? Beddington Lane - terrible surface.

99 fazer is a damn good choice, can really shift once you get a bit of practice in, stable through the bends too.

Enjoy it,can comfortably get 120mph out of it,It will go a little faster, but I lost the bottle when I gave my ex bike an open up to see what it'll do.I did use a disused airstrip to try this though. Wink
