Hi guys I'm Chris from Widnes near Liverpool.
I'm 24 and was a member on here a while ago but can no longer remember my username for that account.

I've previously owned;
'02 Sym City Hopper 49cc @16yo,
'06 Hyosung Gt125 Comet @17,
'S' Suzuki GSX-R600 SRAD @18,
and a '52 Yamaha YZF-R6 @21.

I sold the R6 when I was 22 after a very scary moment when I was 2 up with my girlfriend. Going round a left hander on a 50 section of a dual carriageway, in the left hand lane was an artic wagon doing <40 so I was overtaking in the right hand lane at around 50 as it was quite a tight corner and in the middle of my lane was a wagon's wheel mudguard which I had no choice but to go over the middle of it. There was minimal damage in the form of a scuff on the Yamaha decal on the belly pan. It was at that point I decided to sell up and stick to my car's (6 in 3 years) for the time being and save for a house which I am now in.

I have now been offered a Kawasaki ZRX1100 in Midnight Purple for a very good price from a guy I work with. Another of my colleague's owned it for years before trading this and a VFR400 for the first guys GSX-R750 fighter. When the guy I'm buying it off got it he found out the big end had gone on the engine and bought a 18,000 mile lump to put in it. I have been offered it for a nice little sum of £1,500 with 6 month MOT and tax until Feb. It has a lovely sounding Viper eggsauce fitted to it which I plan on making a bit smaller, engine bars and alarm, but other than that it is pretty much standard. It is very clean for the miles it has covered and has been very well looked after. I'm having him look at the brakes before I buy it as they felt a bit spongey when I took it for a test ride earlier on today. I think I'm getting a good deal on it, what do you guys feel?

I look forward to getting back in to the forum once again.

Sounds good. Good time of year to buy a bike too. Spongy brakes can often be sorted with a clean and bleed.

Not the best time of year to get back on a bike but welcome back.
Have fun Thumbs Up
