I have had pain in the region the tendon attaches to the heel for many years but this summer it ripped hard pushing a bike onto a trailer and I have had it fail on me every day or so if my foot bends over 90 degrees walking up stairs etc. Saw Dr yesterday and she has sent me to orthopedic consultant. What do I expect time in plaster or a bit of knife work and plaster? The tendon is no longer attached to the bone on both sides of the heel, we can feel bits of it just loose and as painful as hell if you poke it with a finger ____________________ Bikers make great organ donors, get 115 on your licence today.
