We are planning to make some small batches of our discontinued exhausts over the winter

we will make them in stainless steel- and because they will not be stocked and kept in our range- prices are going to be 40% plus below the "normal" price

to justify getting the jigs out we will need probably 6 -7 people ready to buy a system

if you would be interested (and this only applies to models not listed in our current price list) drop me an email on ianmcdonald@motad.co.uk- this is not a commitment to buy becuase we may not get enough interest in the model you want, but if we get a few wanting a particular model then we will manufacture in December and Jan

might keep a few bikes on the road

and yes- they will be the "boring" road legal/10 year warranty Motad- not noisy horrors!!!

Do you have a link to that?
Is it your normal motad list or the stainless list?

Had nothing but helpful service from this user. Think of it as a good trader to deal with within the forum as opposed to a spammer.

Use the internet maybe?
Motod site click here.
Says downpipes and bit to fit end pipe are stainless.
RRP £195 inc. VAT and delivery at time of typing.
Also says "Currently not available to buy online but please contact us for delivery details"

So that'd count in the offer as not currently available then?
So £195 - 40% is £117.
Although I'd check all of the above with Motad

"does not fit the later 07 model with lambda sensors"

I did say they could have my tried and tested Vara for designing their new one but they never replied Whistle

My lad has an 03 Vara so didn't check what year on yours.
Forgot they changed to injection.

It appears to have been delivered, also updated the forum post with it and its entire contents.

It probably is a lost cause regardless as I'm likely to sell the bike, could have done with spending some money on it to make it look pretty first Laughing

Is it your normal motad list or the stainless list?

sorry no- the list goes back 40 years- the stuff on the website is not included- basically we covered most of the 70s and 80s Japanese stuff- so if its not on our website its either in the list or one that perhaps we could think about making

clearly we are a company and looking to stay in business by making stuff

but actually we could have any easy life making the current stuff but I thought that by offering the old /no longer available stuff to forum members and others we could keep a few bikes on the road and save you lot some cash

if the feeling from the forum is that this is wrong- no problem I will withdraw the offer!!

Yes, it's commercial, but it's genuinely helpful, and more significantly the poster isn't a nobber, so I'm Thumbs Up for that.
