Just watched another of the Isle of Man vids and even though I love speed on my bike, I think this would be too much for me!!

Just nuts how fast they go on those narrow roads! Has anyone ever been there as a driver or visitor? Would like to hear some real stories Smile

No not yet, but this story has stayed with me.

Uncle and his brother on a Triumph in the mid 70s are ragging it down a straight..piston slap speed, there's a rise in the road and the old Triumph manages to lift it's nose just as 2 racers on a shakedown lap blast past them. One either side and both airborne. My uncle said time slowed down and they appeared to be flying.

Ferry tickets booked and camping site booked for 2014. <<<I tingle as I type.
