Confused just passed my das, any veiws on the gsxr600k4, got very good insurance quote of £438.00
(£300) excess... i no not to drive like a idoit and to take my own time to learn such a bike , will only be driving for my own pleasure not out racing with friends, and only be using after work so not in heavy traffic, any views on this bike ??? any one have one here ???

There are a few gixxer 6 owners on here, don't know if any have the k4 though.

I would imagion you'll end up riding it fairly quick, as that's what the bike's made for, have you got experience on other bikes? Really it'll be down to how you ride it, if you're sensible you should be fine, but it'll probably be hard not to get at least slightly carried away. Laughing

If the K4 model is anything like my K1 model to ride then you will be going quick when ever you can, mine has a really smooth power delivery so just feels really easy to ride, also being a 600 sports bike it reaches silly speeds quickly so saying you won't ride it fast is a lie. Razz

I wouldn't have thought that a sports 600 would be a good idea for a first bike.

The Gixxers look like nice bikes though (haven't ridden one), and if i had the cash & experience i would definately buy one.
