im looking into buying this as my first bike, going with rooroo to look at it later, just wondering if anyone had any tips.... i know it needs a little work done

Clutch cable, which is supplied
Fork seals - about £8 to purchase
kickstart spline ... whats this

im presuming this bike does not have an electric start

anyone got any other info about this bike

thats £8 each
£10 for a bottle of fork oil
and probably about £40 to have a mechanic fit them

doing it yourself is a messy job Razz

ok bike if its cheap, not the fastest u shud look into fitting an ar80 topend i think its a straight swap Very Happy

Its a 50, anything short of slapping a scramjet on the back of it wont make it go much faster Wink

just buy something you can afford and sell for a decent return. Then when you turn 17 sell if and get a 125

lots of people buy things on credit. For all i knew you were gonna go out and buy it on credit rather than buy something which you could genuinly afford.
so long as you have no trouble paying for the bike and insurance outright, and you like the bike then definatly go for it Thumbs Up
