Ive noticed recently that my carb seems to be 'sweating'?

it looks closer to the inlet side that it seems to be sweating, any ideas what the hell this could be?

condensation on the outside? and it always looks as if its got fuel on it, could it be cracked? the bike also doesnt like to idle very well?

If anyone has an ideas id be grateful!

Thanks
Thumbs Up

The physics of gas flowing through/over/in/out of something.
To speed up the gas must lower it's pressure, to lower it's pressure it has to give off heat. This cools the gas and surface of what ever it is in contact with. Water vapour will condense on cold surfaces.

The lumpy idle could just be the cold climate affecting the fuel mixture.

ahhh , but could we use this effect for air conditioning , or cooling a couple of tinnies?

It is what it used (in principle).

But it is easier to put your beer in the fridge. Cool
