Hi

We are having loads of issues with the never ending Java updates blocking our SSL VPN connections.

I want to standardise our machines to one known working Java install (Version 7 Update 45) and turn off the auto updates. It looks like I will need to repackage Java to do this. Anyone have any ideas on an easy way to do this?

Thanks

Cisco per chance?

If it is, there is a current bug for version 7/45 and up, common fix is to untick the keep temporary files in the Java control page.

No its Juniper SA Series SSL VPN

Java 7 Update 45 works but some of the previous updates dont.. They have caused loads of issues like untrusting our URL's and blocking the applets/clients from launching

Each update has been a case of will it work or wont it. The plan is just to get all machines up to the latest working release and then upgrade them with tested working releases in the future. We use Casper to manage the Macs so I can deploy Java packages

Its just breaking down the Java install and turning off the auto updates I haven't ever done and need advice..
