on the rear subframe are 2 holes which on other bikes like mine, some owners have fitted crash bobbins. iv got suitable new bobbins but how do i screw them into the holes?

the holes look to be blank with no thread so how do i make the thread to screw them into?

soz about the stooopid q! still learning here!

Is the thread on the bobbin long enough to pass through the frame and put a nut on the other side. the other option is take it to a fabricator and ask them to put a thread on the frame
