Considering getting one but I've seen both the Silver + and the regular black edition are going for around the same price so which one is the better one to go for? I've seen the black edition going for £260

Also I'm guessing for the bike it's best to get an external mic so any ideas on which one? Haven't looked at any yet

if you get the GP3, You also may wish to consider buying a blurfix3 filter adaptor which will allow you to use standard 55mm camera filters (UV, polarising etc) and get better image results

I have a couple of the blurfix adaptors for my GP`2

If you can get a black for 260, buy it, was way more expensive than that when i bought one Sad

at same (ish) price point, it makes no sense not to buy the black, however.... you will need a VERY, Very good laptop or desktop to edit the footage at 1080p, 60fps, with protune on.

i have just replaced my old £700 laptop with a £1000 laptop ( i7, 8GB ram, 1TB SATA + SSD, dedicated 1080p graphics etc etc) , i have yet to actually see if it will handle the gopro editing!

So basically, if your never going to be able to satisfactorily edit the footage from the black, go with the silver. no point having extras you cant use! Think of it like having the option of a 7" cock that works, or a 10" dick you cant get hard..... Laughing

I've now found the GP3 Black Edition Motorsports for £250!

What about external mic's? Something good for reducing wind noise and stuff

Also my laptop is err a bit slow Mr. Green

The GP3 Black is on the Amazon deals page again today. The sale starts at 11:05.

I looked at it last time it came up and the deal wasn't amazing so didn't go for it. It also seems to have fairly mixed reviews and apparently the support from GoPro is ending Neutral
