Hi guys, just bought my first bike and having some starting issues but first the wiring connector to the brake connector handle was loose with bend wires. I removed connector straightened the poles and then replaced the connector.

My issue is i don't know if it was on correctly in the first place.
Attached are 2 pics i took of the connector can someone tell me which is right.

Position 2 is right, but as far as working is concerned it matters not at all.

On my 650, it's position 2. Black wire with white dot towards the back of the bike, black with green tracer to the front.

I think that's only a switch there though, so chances are it makes zero difference which way around Wink

Brilliant thanks guys. I can see the wiring goes into where the starter and kill switch so was concerned if i was screwing up and earth connection or something.
Thats one problem solved so thanks a bunch I will now post a new one about my non starting bandit and I've read a lot of the posts on here regarding some similar issues so hoping i'll have a slight clue.
