Honda VRX400

Hi Guys,

just thought i'd share the bike with you.

it belonged to another member on here and i'd had a go on it a few months back whilst he used my bike to go to a fancy work do

when i had the bike it was just great fun to ride, and i'd wanted to buy it from him for months. Eventually, he agreed so on hogmany i got a van and collected it!

it's a Jap Import Honda VRX400 on an N reg but i'm sure its a '95.

it needs a bit of work, which is fine with me. i can't ride for a few months due to recent surgery, so it will give me time to get it ready.


the first thing is the rear wheel bearings as it should be something relatively easy to do, but my priority is this:

the fork is pitted pretty badly, and i'm struggling to find a new set, so probably sending them off to get re-chromed in the next fortnight. (i'll do the seals myself)

while the forks are off and the wheel bearings are getting done, i'll be giving the brakes a service, changing the chain and sprockets, and i aim to have it taxed, tested, and on the road for april. maybe get the bike resprayed too as there are a few scratches on the tank and some damage on the rear mudguard.

it's a lovely bike (albeit not a fast one) but i look forward to getting on the road with it!
