Yes, I recently purchased a set and it is a matter of loosening the side fairing to gain access to the mounting fixings.
Once you have access you replace them for the R&G ones and then attach the bobbins through the fairings and put the fairings back on. Easy.
Fortunately, I can't comment on effectiveness yet but seem substantial enough to protect the fairings from a drop or minor spill.
