2001 Aprilia Falco (red) for sale. Near Heathrow. £1750

For sale, my 2001 red Aprilia Falco. We all know the red 'uns go faster. £1750.

Having been off the road for about a year (thanks to a shiny new BMW R 1200 RT) I am selling it on.

It has MOT until August 2014 and I've just thrown money at a very good mechanic and had some work done to her into fighting fit shape. Why? Because in the past I've bought bkes that aren't in good nick before and it's a shoddy thing to do to another human being, let alone a biker!

I have had the regulator/rectifier replaced and put on a brand new top quality battery.
The rear brake was a bit weak so I've had the Brembo master cylinder replaced.
All brake and clutch fluid is brand new.

In the past I've replaced the starter solenoid with a beefier one and replaced the starter sprag clutch (known weak point on Aprilia) as well as the speedo sensor.

I've used it a fair amount, touring and commuting, and it is showing its age a bit. The paint on the back of the fuel tank is flaking off in a patch. There is a small crack on the front mudguard, but it is not affecting stability or security of the aforementioned mudguard!

Comes with the pillion seat and the single seat unit. This is a ten year old bike, which has been well loved and a very good respectable mechanic has just given it a sprucing up ready to be sold and ridden away.

Needs taxing, but you can ride her home.
