Howdy there!

I'm from the UK and it is really hard to find distilled water around here! I happened to stumble around the local market and saw Glaceau Smart Water drinking bottle that is "DISTILLED WATER"!

So before buying this, I want to check if I can use Glaceau Smart Water for flushing out and cleaning the insides of my CBR Motobike!?

Additionally, I will be adding 50/50 on white vinegar would that make a big difference?

Thank you for your help!

I wouldn't even bother using distilled water. Just use the stuff that comes out of a tap.

Why?

I flush my rad by shoving the hose in one end, turning it on and waiting for the water coming out the bottom to not resemble a serious wet-bum-squirtee.

Seems a bit expensive to be pouring artisan bottled water and vinegar through.

This. Flushing it with tap water isn't going to cause limescale deposits. You should use soft or distilled water for filling it. It's the heat cycliong that causes the limescale deposit.

Check in your kettle. if the inside is clean with no signs of crusty scale, you have soft water and it should be fine in the radiator. If it's all cruddy and chalky, you have hard water and shouldn't use it in your radiator.

The ice that forms on the inside of the deep freeze and the water in the tank of condensing tumble driers are both distilled water and suitable to use in your radiator (well, technically, the ice is sublimated water).

If it's that bad, you could reverse flush it too.
