A few years back I had a two part house/club mix, each mix was well over an hour long and had some real gems in, I broke the iPod I had it on and can't for the life of me remember the details of the mix.

Basically all I really remember is at the beginning of one of the mixes there was a man who sounded a bit like Samuel Jackson saying something along the lines of "this is my house" and then maybe something along the lines of this is the house that jack built maybe?

I know it isn't much to go on but I'm fairly certain the mix was put out by a big label (maybe Ministry of Sound Thinking) So I'm hoping somebody might know what I'm on about.

That's the bit at the beginning but the music is different, in the one I'm thinking of where he says deep in to the vibe of house the music kicks in.

Having googled it I realise that that Chuck Roberts thing has been used in about a million mixes, doesn't narrow it down much Laughing

Haven't used it for a year or two, but this used to be great for finding obscure electronic music.

This. It is probably the most used* speech sample in house music, if that is all you have to go on, you are fucked

*Now it is just super uncool cliche, baby.
