Some kind of longish tube that you could wear diagonally down your back with them sticking out to the side of your head?
I seem to remember stinkwheel or someone posting some pictures of carrying long things on a bike... ____________________ 07' Honda Hornet now full powaah! My guide on performing an oil change! |

There was a thread a while back about carrying long-ass things to the bike. Someone had a scythe or something?
It was a spear....

Sorry, my photos have the deads .
Anyway, in the case of skis I had some hard panniers on my KTM (trail tyres with 10psi in help with the snow ), so I had them on top of the panniers either side of my legs coming forwards.
For the crutches on the CCM I made up some carriers from plastic drain (which was a perfect size) which I connected to the pillion peg and the rear rack |

I've rode several times with guns strapped to my back, rods must be similar. A word of warning though, nigh on impossible on a sportsbike with separate seats; a naked with a single rider & pillion seat is easy enough though. ____________________ Triumph Daytona 675 track bike + girlfriend's Honda Hornet 600
