I signed up over at https://kdmc.co.uk a local club, and in my member approval email it said I now had access to the discussion boards, etc. I couldn't find the link to the forums on the site's main page so I duly contacted the club secretary via the site:

Hi, jst signed up, but I can't see a link to the discussion boards. Are
they active? Also is the club purely a racing club, or is it a general
biking club too?
Their response was quite surprising and it really p***ed me off to be honest:

The Club does not have a message board on it site as it does not want people

Seems fair enough. Not everyone wants their biking life to revolve around a discussion forum.

Yeah, I suppose, but he/she could have been a bit friendlier about it. Also they shouldn't say you have access to the DB's in their member approval mail if the forums don't exist, seems silly. Embarassed
