Hi people. I'm new to the forum so plz be tame with me. I am in the middle of doing a complete cd 200 rebuild. I acquired this bike 18 months ago as a freebie and decided to completely rebuild it. I am now starting to get it back together and have come across a problem. First of it's the 6 v model with battery. I have got it completely wired back up and I have got no spark. I decided to check the points and there is no spark there either. Would this be to do with not having a battery on it. Does it need a battery on it to get a spark at the points. Or would it be to do with the coil. Sorry for the questions but have searched the internet and can't find anything. Hoping some body on here could give me the answer. Photos being taken so will post them on here. Do apologise if this is in the wrong area. Cheers loffty
