Give it time.

I tried to put on the leather jeans I bought when I was 17 the other day and they seem to have shrunk in the intervening 18 years to the point where I can no longer do them up.

Amazing how often that happens.

Perhaps you should put a thick jumper on underneath? Something nice and festive?

the M6 is an everyday suit, not a sport suit, it is a bit more generous so it's easier to get on with and offers all day comfort

did they recommend the size? as you can take it back if they did, otherwise you could pay another few hundred quid and have someone like nine lives leathers resize it down for you, not cheap but they do know what they're doing

To Glasgow, Stockwell or Farnborough, maybe.

It depends in what way they are loose. If your trousers are threatening to go gangsta-style then yes they are too loose, but if they are just loose around the legs, that's normal. There should be some slack around your thighs so that they don't pinch when you are seated on the bike. Remember they are designed primarily for sitting not standing.

Mine were too loose for ages but as they've creased and softened they've started to fit a lot better. The only problem I have with them is that they are too long in the leg and the zip at the bottoms of the legs can chaff inside my boots unless I leave them unzipped. But I only paid £15 for them so I can't complain.

Rather than get rid of them, why not take them to a specialist and get them taken in?
