Whos up for a bcf green lane session? I'm up for going anywhere, have a van and a few mates who'd tag along. Or could do a day from my place, got a big drive and a hose/jetwash I'm near devils punchbowl, hampshire/Surrey borders. Got a good 100odd miles of lanes around me.[/b]

Sounds good to me; I've ridden with MikeJ, Joe, Silky, Tatters, Danmoto and BlueSV around that way and have ring fenced a few hundred quid from January's pay check to put mine back on the road.

So yeah, give me a couple of weeks and I'd be more than up for a ride. Think Stewie and Klause are around that way too, but don't recall riding with them. They may be interested though?

Once back on the road, you're more than welcome to pop down this way too and we'll give you a tour of the Sussex lanes (be warned that there's a lot more roadwork than Surrey stuff though)

Did a lovely run from Waterlooville to Alton and back a little while ago so there are lanes in Hampshire. Have a look at www.bywaydatabase.com as a start if you haven't already.

That's quite a jaunt for me, annoyingly, at least 100 miles before I even get there, the furthest afield I have ever been is near cirencester, about an hour away at TTR 250 speed.

Not near the midlands by any chance? I'm also 100 miles away and won't be on the best bike for long distance if that helps Mr. Green

Yeah, Leamington Spa. I was out and about yesterday on the green lanes, which reminds me, I need to wash me bike off. It was her maiden voyage after the 263 rebore and top end freshen up. Definitely helps out at the bottom end, I even managed to break traction on a roundabout in second! Razz Not that impressive I know, but it never did it before, and it was dry yesterday.

Count me in too.
I'm in East Sussex, not a million miles away!
Been wanting to get to Devils Punchbowl for a while, but was a bit hesitant road riding 60+ miles on nobblies. They'd be munched to pieces before I even got there! Laughing

We've got quite a few lanes this neck of the woods, if you fancy the drive. Smile

Good stuff, will come down your way sometime, punchbowl is good but I have done it a lot so new lanes would be cool.
