As the title says. Considering his success at this years TT, it seems a bit of a strange decision. Although, we don't know the actual reason for the split but, Honda did seem keen to keep him on board, or so it would appear at present.

It'll be interesting to hear what Dunlop himself has to say on the matter and who he'll end up joining. Anyone else thinking Yamaha, as was rumoured back in October?

How many of Dunlop's wins at the 2013 were on a factory Honda Legends bike? The answer is something resembling one. McG also has a similar amount of wins on a factory (not Padgetts/HM Plant) customer bikes.

Most of Dunlop's success came on bikes he owned outright.

unfortunately alot of it comes down to money and wanting to have a bigger share of the pie than other riders
