Hi i recently bought a vt700. i was told that when it was put in his garage two years ago it was working. But try as i mite i cant get a thing to light up on the display. No lights what so ever.I recharged the battery and as im not sure the battery is OK i put a jump pack on but nothing, not a glimmer,
Ideas please ignition switch or is their a rectifier or regulator that has blown. I have found the 30 amp fuse but thats OK?

That old chestnut!

Check all connections for corrosion, including earths.

Could also be a dodgy ign switch or kill switch.

Is the battery holding a charge? If it's totally knackered it may be sucking up all the juice from the jump pack and not letting any of it go elsewhere.

Check the fuses too.
