i have a nsr super sprint in-port 2001 with a restricted cdi i got a uk cdi form ebay now the bike want start with uk cdi. uk cdi from 2000 nsr r.are they not compatable or is the cdi not work that i have bought how can i tell. Sad

I would expect that they are compatible, the easiest way to find out is to try it I reckon.

If it works then fine, if it doesn't then just put the original one back in and sell the UK one on eBay again.

So you have the UK CDI, but, do you have the new coil that you need? The UK CDI is not compatible with the import NSR coil as far as I'm aware. I'm in the process of sorting mine out also!

the uk spec cdi will burn-out if you do not change the coils, l know Embarassed very long walk back home
