I currently have super-moto on road but really fancy a change to a faired superbike, I have a friend who is wanting to do a swap he has a mint completely standard gsxr 750 k1 with 10k and full Suzuki history, really nice but thinking is that to much to start on will I be better selling and looking for a 600 1st? Or will this be ok as complete minter and done nothing?

What size super moto have you been on until now Razz

I don't think theres any reason people can't start / step up to larger bikes personally, you control the bike, it goes as fast as you tell it to, just have to be cautious.

My brother went from a cbr125 to a gsxr600 (unrestricted) and is still alive, which i imagine is a bigger jump than your SM to a 750 gixxer.
A bike's only as fast as you make it. The more powerful the bike, the more power there is to use... doesn't mean you have to use all the power to begin with.

Do it, you'll have no problems with the power as long as you take a little time to get used to it; enjoy!

Guy over the road from me year's ago went from a new NSR125 after 1year to a nearly new Ducati 996. I imagine that was quite a change, but he'd wanted the big duke since he had a 916 poster in his bedroom years before apparently.
